LIQUID AP BOTTLING PLANT

Progress on our liquid AP filling plant project

The construction of the new liquid AP bottling plant at Mokrá Cement Works is progressing, bringing important steps towards reducing CO₂ emissions and improving sustainability.

What have we achieved in the last period?

  • We completed the first shell of a 440 m³ double-walled fuel oil storage tank.
  • We have completed a steel shed for the filling of heating oil and alternative fuels.
  • We are completing the construction of a boiler house with steam generators to heat the fuel oil in the storage tank and rail tankers.
  • Installation of the pump house building and completion of the service tank shelter have been successfully completed.
  • The first phase of the installation of the fuel oil and AP piping from the boiler house to the rotary kilns has been completed.

The construction of the new furnace line, aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions, required us to demolish the original filling plant and replace it with a more modern one. The new technology makes fuel unloading less energy intensive, contributing significantly to reduced emissions and improved operational efficiency.
